Vehicles from several decades, beginning with the 20s, appear each year on Cole and several of the side streets, filling downtown with people and memories. Many of these cars are stock, just as we remember them (only cleaner), but others have been modified with big engines of the muscle car era. This customizing is heresy to antique car purists, but is part of history itself, becoming widespread in the 50s when some cars were old enough to be, well, old, and disposable income was on the rise.
